NCERT Recruitment 2026: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), functioning under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has officially released its Non-Academic Recruitment Notification 2026 for 173 Group A, Group B, and Group C posts. This recruitment is being conducted through Direct Recruitment under Advertisement No. 01/2025/Non-Academic.
As per the latest update, the last date to apply online has been extended. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications on the official NCERT portal up to 30 January 2026 (11:55 PM).

NCERT Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions as on 16 January 2026.
Educational Qualification & Experience
The educational qualification and experience requirements vary depending on the post. Applicants are advised to carefully read the official notification before applying. Some indicative qualifications are listed below:
- Superintending Engineer: B.Tech / M.Tech in relevant discipline with 10–12 years of experience
- Production Officer: Degree or Diploma in Printing Technology with relevant experience
- Junior Hindi Translator: Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with translation qualification
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 10+2 pass with typing proficiency
- Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject

NCERT Age Limit 2026
Age limit is calculated as on 16 January 2026 and varies by post.
- Group A Posts: Maximum 35 to 50 years (post-wise)
- Group B & C Posts: Generally up to 27 to 30 years
Age Relaxation (As Per Government Rules)
- SC / ST: 5 Years
- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- PwBD (UR): 10 Years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 Years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 Years
